Chicago White Sox™

COMISKEY PARK™

Comiskey Park™ was the home of the Chicago White Sox™ from 1910 to 1990. The stadium itself was constructed entirely of concrete and steel. The last game at Comiskey Park™ took place at the end of the 1990 MLB season and the ballpark was demolished in 1991.

The Creative Process

Schematics

Schematics of each stadium are hand-drawn to accurately map out the fine details that go into every handmade piece.

WoodCarving

Every stadium model is hand-carved by John Westbrook, each unique stadium carving is used to make the mold for casting.

Molding

The handmade wood models are placed into silicone to create molds for the final shape of the cast bronze composite.

Finishing Touches

After casting, the statues are handpainted and completed with jewels, emblems, and the final touches completing the stadium.
